How we started
An American school with a Brazilian soul.
American English Experience was born from a simple observation: talented Brazilian professionals were being passed over for promotions, negotiations, and international opportunities — not for lack of competence, but for lack of confidence in English.
Founded by Leonardo Reis, M.A. in Linguistics from the University of São Paulo, the school was created to fill that gap with a method that goes beyond grammar: we develop confident communicators, not just English speakers.
Today, with over 1,600 professionals trained across sectors from finance to Olympic sports, AEA is recognized as a reference in professional English in Brazil.
